An introduction to the history of Venice
If you are looking for an introduction walk to the monumental places of the city of Venice, to begin to learn about its main monuments, but also its urban shape and its thousand-year history, this tour could be for you!
It is a walk between Piazza San Marco and Rialto. The itinerary is designed entirely outdoors to also have some first orientation.
In Piazza San Marco we focus on the exteriors of the Basilica of San Marco, the Palazzo Ducale with the prisons and the Bridge of Sighs, the clock tower and the bell tower. We then continue to the Castello district including the Case del Milion where the famous Marco Polo lived, to end in the ancien commercial center of Rialto.
